Happy Birthday Outh!!!

The last few weeks of May!
Last Sunday, 05/16/2010 I hosted my first family dinner and let me tell you it went well. We will get into that just a bit. Earlier that day, I cleaned, mopped and pine sol everything down. I was on my knees cleaning and wow, being pregnant didn't help at all.
After all that was done, I got to cooking. Menu that night was Pan Gayaw with Kapoon! It actually turned out really good. My parents enjoyed it along with my siblings. It was so nice to finally host my own dinner party.
Now its been awhile since I've blog, Ill put everything into one thing.
We are almost done settling in. Just got a few more boxes to unpack. Kareena is loving the attention and loves to roam around in her own space.
So the in laws came into town for a couple of days.......they wanted to meet up with us, Outh suggest they meet up with us at my mom's house. Everything went well, they were only here for an hr, so nothing major. Kareena was a little stubborn and no one could touch or look at her, but towards the end, she warmed up and started showing off! LOL!
Outh has gone back to nights for now, but hopefully, Insha Allah they are trying to get him to days, which is in the works right now. Thank heaven! I love having hubby at home with me at nights, its kinda scary and lonely.
So now we are done to the final days of May.

Summertime....
Today has been so nice, weatherwise! Summer is finally here. I need to go summer clothes shopping. With this pregnancy, I want summer dresses, long summer dresses. When I was pregnant with Kar, I wore only short summer dresses, so something different.
Paly and I went to the spa and its been such a long time since I had a facial, it was very much needed. I enjoyed it so much and I was telling Outh, he needs to go get one. I would have done a massage, but I won't feel comfortable, so maybe after Gabriel is born I will have at least an 1 to 2 hr massage! :)
Outh took me and Kar shopping at the mall just to kill time before with head over to San's house for a bbq tonight. I found this long tube top summer dress I like. I wanted to wear it to Tarick's 1st birthday party! Yay.
Tarick and Kar have missed each other so much since Kar moved out. My mom watches Kar while me and Outh go to work and to our surprise Kareena is so attach to my mom! Its so funny! Kar has really adapted and adjusted well since we moved to Utah and my family are so happy to have us closer to them!

Baby naming!
Since we found out we are having a boy, trying to find a name is crazy! I thought boy's name are so easy and we would pick one out right away!
It took us awhile, but we have finally picked a name we both agreed on. Our new little fella will be named Gabriel Bakaray Shah! We wanted to pick a name out of the book and Outh said what about Angel Gabriel. And I've always wanted to name my son after my grandfather, so we decided to put my grandfather's name as his middle name! Love it! My family and parents love it!

First Home!
So its been two to three weeks since we've moved into our own place. I mean this is the first time Outh and I have lived together alone. We love it! Its so nice to have our own place and not worry about anything. Kareena loves it. I thought it would be hard for her to adjust but the very first night, she roamed around and did her own thing.
It was my mom and I who picked out the place and fell in love with it. Outh hasn't seen it until the day we moved in and he was so impress. He has worked so hard to finally make our dreams come true. Big thanks to my momma and poppa who has always been our back bones and our biggest supporter in our marriage and we are so thankful to have them in our lives and love them very much.

Day after check up....
Since yesterday after we found out the exciting news, there were other news along with the excitement. As the tech was doing my ultra sound, she also mention that the baby's head is already down, I mean literally down in position. I asked if that meant he was ready to come early and she said Ill let you discuss that with your dr. I went in today to meet with Dr. Meek and I asked him questions. He said there is nothing to worry about. Its normal. The baby will turn back up. Yay, that made me feel so much better. The little fella is 9oz and heart is beating strong!
